The Centre for Research on the Horn of Africa (CERHA) is a London-based think tank dedicated to promoting peace, justice and sustainable development across the Horn of Africa.
We aim to foster peaceful coexistence among communities in the region by advancing democratic values, defending human rights, promoting the rule of law and encouraging inclusive dialogue.
What we do
As a research-driven institution, CERHA generates knowledge and policy insight focused on the countries of the Horn of Africa. Through research, community engagement and public dialogue — including parliamentary roundtables — we work towards a more stable, secure and prosperous region.
Geographic focus
CERHA’s work concentrates on the Horn of Africa and on the international policies that shape the region, including the United Kingdom’s role.
Independence
CERHA’s analysis is independent. We do not exist to promote a political party. Funding and governance information will be published on Funding and Transparency and Governance as those arrangements are formalised.
